Prepare vessel stowage plan of CIX services for NHAVA SHEVA / COLOMBO ports and follow up with respective Local agent / Terminal planner / Vessel C/O for cargo adjustment and plan approval.
Co-ordinate with whole dept. for vessel operation as well as Approved plan from chief officer. Vessel monitoring at vessel side. shifting of cargo to optimize crane intensity for earlier operation completed. Co-ordination with port officials.
Monitoring service allocation, balance to load for all partners. Judge the shortfall from partners CBF and skeleton plan to perform additional moves / teus as an when require for ety reposition. It has optimized overall space utilization on the services operating at Nhava Sheva which has contributed to reduce / maintain inventory levels.
Maintain good relationships with terminal officials & JV partners to have their best support in daily operation related issues.
Prepare Various Operation Reports related to service calling at NSA as mentioned below (1) NSA Service Profiling Update- Monitoring on daily berthing reports of all the terminals and update the profiling report. (2) Weekly Report (3) Service Performance Report
Assist fellow staff / subordinates if they need any help and solve the problem with collaboration and teamwork.
Assist HOS and Look after his responsibility in his absence and responsive to daily activity.
Handling Export activities with Port, custom.
Maintain good relationship with Sr. Dock Master to get first/last time as per permittable tide & update vsl master to adjust eta accordingly which ensure to save bunker. Close co-ordinate with marine dept. for vsl reporting & pilot pickup.
