I also take accountability and responsibility for any post-upgrade issues within the Data Protection Infrastructure Services and liaise with the respective product vendors for suitable fixes.
With over 18 years of extensive experience in the information technology and financial technology service industries. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed incidents, change management, delivered exceptional services, overseen vendor relationships, and implemented Storage and Data Protection Infrastructure and Product solutions for very large-scale data centres of more than 100 petabytes across various regions worldwide, including the USA, UK, and Hong Kong of HSBC, and utilized ITIL and agile methodologies. Additionally, I have a proven track record in enhancing business processes. As a technology professional, I possess strong leadership abilities and thrive in an agile work environment.

• Led OS and Firmware upgrades of Dell EMC Data Domain models DD9900, DD9500, DD9400, and DD9300 for 200 Data Domains globally across EMEA, APAC, and AMERICAS.
• Accomplished Veritas NetBackup Legacy product code upgrade from v7.2 to V8.1.1 for more than 10K servers across EMEA, APAC, and AMERICAS.
• My team and I are responsible for OS (Linux) level patching and common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE) remediation for very large-scale Data Protection Infrastructure Services of more than 100 petabytes in each region including Veritas NetBackup v9.1.0.1 and COMMVAULT related products across the USA, UK, and Hong Kong.
• Currently leading massive upgrade project of Veritas NetBackup Client to v9.1.0.1 for more than 150K servers across EMEA, APAC, and AMERICAS.
• I'm responsible for all project planning, documentation on Confluence, resource planning and task assignments, keeping track of project progress using the KANBAN Board and leading the project closer.
• My performance is measured against the OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) which are aligned with the HSBC Global Technology Strategies.
• In my previous role within the Storage domain I worked on Object Storage (DELL EMC ECS and NetApp StorageGRID) and Veritas Enterprise Vault.
