- Generating Purchase Orders with the coordination of the buyers for pharmaceutical products coming directly from manufacturers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Responsible to coordinate with suppliers for order processing (pharmaceutical goods) and further execution of its logistics from European suppliers to our outsourced vendor and final delivery of finished goods to our central distribution center.
- Utilizing SAP for end to end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, purchase order creation and real-time inbound stock updates ensuring seamless and efficient supply chain operations.
- Responsible to monitor and periodical checks with the production team in order to ensure the statutory compliance with regulatory standards as per the UK guidelines.
- Responsible for the timely completion of outsourced production activities to ensure improved stock processing time, efficient inventory flow and on-time product availability.
- Monitoring the stock movement and inventory levels within 12 distribution centers across the UK on the basis of their generated demand. Forecasts were being set on the basis of historical sales which helped in preventing stock shortages and curtailing the overstock.
- Daily coordination with cross-functional teams to adapt to the abrupt changes in demand, production schedules and request the production team to expedite stock processing for timely distribution.
- Generating monthly reports on on-time delivery, month-end inventory levels, average inventory and supplier performance which were used to track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Retrieving daily stock-in reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to analyze inventory levels and plan optimized stock movements across distribution centers.
- Analyzing and improving daily service levels across distribution centers, consistently achieving the team goal of 98% service levels by generating stockout reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams including buyers, marketing and production teams to implement solutions.
- Daily 10 minute war-room meeting with cross-functional teams (Marketing, buyers) wherein every individual updates on their deliverables and discuss any potential adjustments leading to accurate demand forecast.
