Job Profile:

Purchasing (2007-2009):

  • A) Creation of purchase orders.
  • B) Negotiating with suppliers.
  • C) Issuing quotes to supplier and ensuring the price quoted are as per the agreements/ contracts.
  • D) Reviewing the stability of supplier by reviewing their yearly balance sheet.
  • E) Follow up with the release engineers to check firm up price for every design change.
  • F) Reporting to top management on the performance of suppliers.

Material Cost Analysis (2009-2011)

  • A) Clearing issues after regular meetings with the plant coordinator’s and help them to resolve the pricing issues.
  • B) Identifying, Reviewing and Approving the Material cost variances due to Design and Non Design Changes and reporting major weaknesses to the Management.
  • C) Conducting the Price Variance Audits to ensure correct flow of prices across all design changes.

Accounts Payables (2011-Till date)

  • A) Approving payments for local as well as international suppliers.
  • B) Resolving the payment issues of the supplier, which includes reissuing of the cheques, checking the debits and credits that reflect the supplier’s accounts.
  • C) Conducting the Risk Based Audit in Payment process.
  • D) Review of the payment proposal to the vendors matching the Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt and Invoice.
  • E) Approving the banking details and ensuring that the payments are made to the correct accounts of the suppliers.
  • F) Ensuring compliance of internal controls within the company.
  • G) Liaison with the external Auditors and ensure timely completion of the Year end audit, ISO & GAO Audit.
  • H) Training the employees in the areas of payment activities.
  • I) Regular operational discussions with the Purchasing team to improve the payout time.
  • J) Monitoring all incasso payments ( Legal Charges )
  • K) Ensuring the operational management in complying the Companies policies and procedures.
  • L) Coordinating and provide reports and backup documents for Statutory audits.
  • M) Review and approval of Subledgers, General ledgers and Journal for every month
  • N) Have worked on the automation tools like Alteryx and Qlick Sence.
  • O) Analysis and clearance of suspended items.
