Design and development of Globe valve, Hydraulic Valve, Hydraulic actuator, Manifold block design, pneumatic, electromechanical component and accessories mounting against customer requirement or new product development. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (design & development planning to changes implementing). Work on Engineering calculations (thread strength, flange bolting, cylinder wall thickness, torque, spring forces, valve flow, buckling and cavitation calculation) formulated in EXCEL. Closely interact with pre-order teams (Sales and Application team) to review customer requirements with respect to existing design suitability, alternate design solution and new product development feasibility thereby creating new part code list. Guide a team with the Engineering data required in post order GAD approvals, BOM approvals Engineering drawing release and R&D activities. Evaluate their work for completeness and correctness, set work priorities and guide them in their tasks. Ensure the complete compliance of project assignments/specifications with customer’s requirements; for any discrepancies discuss directly with customer / project coordinator and make necessary changes to assignments thereby informing sales, application, planning and quality teams. Assist in Procurement, Operation, Quality, Manufacturing teams in smooth execution of order and internal Design Validation for new product development. Review each design with respect to project specifications; design form, fit, function; manufacturing, assembly, testing feasibility; safety; cost. Establish and practice the procedures to use international standards, project specifications, drafting, design and part code creation standards to produce consistent and reliable results. Maintain design records/documents (development, controlled, master copy, ECR, ECN, Deviation). Preparing the required Shop floor documents such as Certificate of Compliance, Checklist, NDE Reports, Hydro test report and releasing to Shop floor for procurement and Manufacturing along with the Manufacturing drawings and BOM. Execution, Monitoring testing of final product & validation of output. Worked on the R&D product and supported for the complete design starting from concept design.
