Leading project to introduce hydro-mechanical power assisted steering system for 24-45 HP tractor segment. Designed a flow control unit to ensure constant flow requirement for steering unit.
Involved in VAVE project of 5 series new ADDC which leads to savings of up to 10% and turned out better in terms of field performance. Prepared 2D layout of system as well as CAD models / drawings of components like housing, cylinder, piston, crank, shaft etc. Conducted calculations related to lift capacity, transport height, and tolerance stacking. Also conducted FEA of components like housing, shaft etc. Assisted in assembly during proto – build and line trials. Contributed in debugging hydraulic issues during various field trials and resolution of field complaints.
Involved in design of small ADDC for newly launched 18 HP small tractors. Achieved stringent target of product compactness, cost competitive design as well suitability for all agriculture and haulage applications. Conducted field surveys to incorporate customer requirements in design prior to specs finalization. Conducted calculations for pump and sealing selection, lift capacity, lift time.
