New Model - Vehicle Quality

• Performed to achieve all vehicle quality targets for every milestone from prototype to mass production in collaboration with different cross functional team including product engineering, manufacturing section, supplier quality etc.
• Capitalize all critical customer issues in collaboration with Market quality by adopting Lesson Learnt from previous project from digital phase till SOP(Start Of Production) in both product design and manufacturing facilities.
• Decide in-build , repair quality target with project management and deploy through development phases
• Contributed in validating 3MIS targets for new model.
• Developed quality planning for multiple new product launches by verifying customer requirements and implementing in design and production
• Validate QVCC (Quality Variable Control Characteristic) , deploy & monitor in the manufacturing section.
• Deploy Quality Monitoring Plan for new model.
• Validate CAPEX for new inspection equipment before contract.
• Ensure all trial concerns actions are taken in each milestones.
• Ensure regulatory(CO) requirements are met for all destination.
• Conduct Safe Launch activity to avoid quality issue spike in market

Supplier Quality:

• Conduct supplier sourcing selection audits for new projects
• Evaluate and make RMP( Risk Mitigation Plan) in collaboration with purchase, design
• Ensure Q file( Quality files) and P files( Production Files) are meeting corporate quality targets.
• Conduct Simultaneous check for supplier parts.
• Conduct process audit to ensure Hard to Fail at supplier & approve supplier parts- PSW
• Ensure On time Off tool and Off process and right level of quality in each milestone
• Capitalize past failures in both design and supplier process and ensure implementation.
• Deploy Safe Launch at supplier end and receiving inspection at plant.

Team Activity:

• Promote training and ensure high skill to perform good output for team member through overseas and local training.
• Motivate team member with reward & recognition.

Global Project Support

• Study Quality Assurance Requirement (QAR) to ensure Hard To Fail in process and detection
• Conduct Simultaneous activity for Parts and Vehicle quality for all Global Nissan models.
• Create Know Hows as stock based on past failures and get validated from corporate
• To be cost competitiveness by reducing PMD (Per Man days) and reduce cost of project

• Assuring quality of bought-out parts from suppliers from India and across world
• Performed Quality Assurance activity for 350 suppliers.
• Ensure quality of parts export from India to Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi plant across world.
• Manage Head count based on business plan to make Cost per Unit competitive
• Make & deploy strategy to achieve Supplier Ranking target for India cluster.
• Achieve Cluster health check and Plant health check targets
• Validate supplier 8D for quality issue.
• Collaborate with Market Quality team and ensure 3MIS targets are within limits by improving supplier parts quality
