Payments and Card Management System 

Role: Lead Full Stack Developer

Project Description:
Developed a scalable and secure Payments and Card Management System for a banking client to streamline payment processing, card issuance, and transaction management. The system supported multiple payment methods (credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, UPI) and ensured compliance with PCI-DSS and other regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designed and implemented RESTful APIs for payment processing, including authorization, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Developed the card management module for issuing, activating, and managing credit/debit cards using Spring Boot , Microservices and React Js.
• Integrated with third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and core banking systems for real-time transaction processing.
• Implemented fraud detection mechanisms using rule-based and AI-based approaches to monitor suspicious transactions.
• Ensured data security by implementing encryption, tokenization, and two-factor authentication (2FA).
• Optimized database queries and used caching (Redis) to improve system performance and handle high transaction volumes.
• Containerized the application using Docker and deployed it on AWS with Kubernetes for scalability and high availability.
