  • In the hospital, the issue of bed bugs has been addressed and managed.
  • Introduced the QR system, abandoned the checklist, and became the first supportive department to be paperless.
  • Introduced the TAG system to avoid mixing BMW into general waste.
  • A SOP for the housekeeping department was introduced.
  • To address the delay in discharge room cleaning, TAT was created for general ward, A classes, and deluxe room cleaning.
  • Displayed posters in all the restrooms to educate attendees and patients.
  • To address the housekeeping complaint, a 24/7 WhatsApp number has been displayed in all the A classes, the Deluxe rooms, and the common restroom.
  • A wheelchair assistance zone (WAZ) was introduced to avoid wheelchair delays.
  • COVID-19- Without any deviation, hospital cleaning and patient transportation were done as per the guidelines shared.
  • We initiated and created a WhatsApp group with the housekeeping and engineering departments to address and rectify all the complaints immediately.
  • To distinguish housekeeping buckets from restroom buckets, a color-coded bucket system was implemented.
  • A color-coded MOP system was implemented to distinguish MOPs from Room and Veranda.
  • Several PowerPoint presentations have been developed to educate and train the supervisor, housekeeper, and transporter.
