Accountable for providing end-to-end DevSecOps services for the managed application cluster portfolio, encompassing activities such as building, deploying, pipeline scripting, mainframe support, Docker and containerization, AWS CI/CD with IaaC - Terraform, as well as integrations for security and code coverage scans, including playwright automation test scripts. Below are the key roles, enhancements & automations delivered as a DevOps engineer:

• SDLC & Agile practices: Created team strategy for SDLC automation, configuration management and release management. Expert knowledge on design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes involving deployments of .Net, Java, Docker Containers, AWS, PCF, OCF applications.
• Applications hosed on AWS & Cloud Foundry using Terraform for IaaC: Reduced deployment times with the introduction of CI/CD High-Speed pipelines for multiple projects. Streamlined infrastructure management through automation using industry-leading tool - Terraform.
• Shared Library Implementation: Implemented shared libraries for code reusability across 150+ Jenkins jobs. Owned a GitHub shared library by creating groovy, yaml, python & PowerShell functions, utilizing them in all applications' Jenkins job, ensuring consistency across projects, minimizing the errors. This enhancement resulted in more than $10000 soft savings/year to the project
• DevOps UI creation using React JS: Leading a team of three, I initiated & worked on the activity of creating a react UI - Frontend UI: nodejs, Backend/Microservice: C# & nodejs for performing DevOps activities such as getting applications list, performing server admin activities - Application pool restarts, IIS resets, killing a remote task, backing up files from server, fetching IIS logs from server & performing CRUD operations in a windows server MS SQL DB. Application is hosted in a private Cloud foundry.
• Automating SVN to GitHub Migration: Created a shell script to create a GitHub repo & migrate the entire subversion repository to GitHub Enterprise on the go
• Dynatrace Application Monitoring: Increased system reliability, minimizing downtime and service disruptions through proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis. As a lead for Dynatrace implementation activity, I collaborated across cross-functional teams to implement Dynatrace monitoring in all our application servers, which involves different platforms - Windows, Linux, Docker Containers, AWS Lambda & Private Cloud foundry
• PCF to OCF migration: Successfully migrated legacy applications onto modern cloud-based platforms while maintaining high levels of performance and availability during transitions. Offered Knowledge transfer to a new team & supported them in migrating over 150 applications OCF cloud, with HSP & multibranch Jenkins pipeline approaches
• Automating Change request creation in ServiceNow: Created groovy with shell & python scripted functions to generate okta token for authentication & creating change requests in ServiceNow
• Docker registry migration: Migrated all our docker images from Private docker registry to Nexus registry. Written a shell script to execute steps in batch
• SonarQube: Acquired knowledge on setting up SonarQube quality gates and applied it by integrating with our Jenkins High-Speed Pipeline scripts to scan the application source code & generate test coverage report
• Jenkinsfile and Jenkins job creation automation: This automation written in groovy enables the creation of jenkinsfile & Jenkins job with a single click as per the application requirement
• OSS to CBJ Jenkins Migration: Successfully migrated over 200 OSS freestyle Jenkins jobs to CBJ Jenkins with pipeline groovy scripts and resolved related issues
• SAST scans integration to CICD pipelines: Snyk & Blackduck scans are implemented to all our applications to fix any open-source vulnerabilities, eliminating high risk dependencies from the application source code
• 42C API Audit: Incorporated 42 crunch API audit in our Jenkins pipeline script
• Automating file type conversion: Created a PowerShell script, which decreased manual workload by converting 500+ documents from .doc to .docx format across all servers from Dev till PROD. PowerShell script developed for this is versatile and can also facilitate conversions of other file types. It also enables automation of batch conversions of multiple file types concurrently
• Alerts & Dashboards: Implementation of an email alerting system for Jenkins job status & creation of dashboards & reports in ServiceNow & Dynatrace
• Exemplifying leadership capabilities: As a Home Manager for three associates, I provided guidance on their daily tasks, enhancement projects, and other BAU processes in alignment with our compliance standards. Mentored team members, fostering professional growth and improving overall team performance. Whenever required, I took additional responsibility, extending my support during onshore hours & weekends, serving as primary point of contact for all activities. • Upskilling: Certified Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer. Learnt Terraform, Kubernetes & ELK.

• Linux Admin: Handled CPU, Disk, File system and Memory related issues, checking server performance, providing resolutions by checking the monitoring tools such as Nmon visualizer, AWS CloudWatch, New relic and Email alerts
