Pricing Tool

• Migrated the Pricing Tool module to ASP.NET MVC using C# which was initially developed using ASP.NET & VB.NET.
• Implemented UI using MVC 4.0, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX & Web Form Controls to create responsive web pages with client-side validations using JQuery and JavaScript.
• Used JQuery, JSON for dynamic User Interface, retrieval and posting of data.
• Built PDF report to show the pricing and send it via email to customers.
• Used the Entity Framework to generate models using the database first approach.
• Wrote LINQ expressions for database access.
• Used ASP.NET Web Service to make use of RESTful Web services.
• Involved in requirements gathering, analyzing, creating high level technical documentation.
• Involved in creating and presenting prototypes to the users, user training and detailed product documentation and user acceptance testing.

ESP Module:

• Involved in gathering requirements from users & analyzing data with underlying ESP system.
• Understanding the design and structure of the underlying business system ESP, with whom we needed to interact through web services.
• Built VB.Net classes to interact with the downstream system’s Web services which required complex coding.
• This required fetching data from the tables, organizing it in defined format and passing it on to the web services.

Order Entry Module:

• Developed Web Forms for the modules using ASP.Net server controls, Validation Controls, and HTML.
• Created a report for the users with layout of the equipment required at the customer side.

EWN / CTCI Migration:

• Involved in understanding the existing data in MS Access.
• Implemented a tool to migrate all the data from MS access to SQL Server.

Miscellaneous:

• Developed components using Web API using REST.
• Leading offshore team and delegating tasks and doing code reviews.
• Designed, tested, installed and monitored new systems.
• Served as primary liaison between software customers and development team, relating feedback and concerns for future patch cycles.

Perpetual PPX (Financial application)

• Used Microsoft Visio to create process flow design document.
• Built business component for parsing the payment received in the XML format using Web Services in C#.
• Used Windows Services for resubmitting the failures occurred in payment posting because of the mainframe unavailability.
• Built encryption decryption component for the Mainframe credentials using Cryptography.
• The credentials are encrypted and stored in the Windows Registry.
• Designed components to post the payment to the mainframe through the web interface using VB.NET.
• Developed Web Forms using ASP.NET for retrieving latest payments depending upon the criteria provided.
