  • DEPARTMENT- MENS FASHION- Category lead for Mens category contributing 47% to the fashion Business of Smart Bazaar
  • Successfully Managed 800 stores 550 cr with 6 team members
  • Developed Merchandising plan in lines with the Top Management ABP
  • Worked closely with the Procurement Team on Range Architecture of the Category
  • Built systematic review tools for weekly and monthly review to align inventory with OTB with Procurement Team

  • End result expected was to have season wise assortment on the stores (keeping in mind the need of demographic diversity)

  • This had to result in increasing the business contribution of fashion in the Smart Bazaar from 10% to 25%
  • The second major project was to clearout the old inventory which was acting as a bottle neck to bring in action the above project
  • This was being worked out by planning aggressive promotional activites, sharing non saleable merchandise details with Retail head and Buying team

  • Merchandise Financial Plan - Worked with the Business head to develop financial plan for the category by forecasting business projections in line with organizational goals and market trends
  • Range Architecture Plan- Provided assortment analytics as inputs to the development of seasonal category strategies and assortment plans to the Buying Team
  • OTB- Drove open to buy (OTB) process and meet stock turn targets and optimising stock in system by chasing weekly sales plan
  • Shared coming months recommendations for category-level inventory receipt plans to category team and markdown plans proposals to Business Head
