  • Setting up SOP for Nursing department, Quality department and Infection Control for smooth functioning of the hospital
  • Managing all the administrative duties of the Nursing, Cath lab and Dialysis Departments
  • Coordinating with Infection Control Nurse and Quality coordinator to maintain different standards of all departments within Hospital
  • Providing guidance to Sr- Incharges how to schedule shifts for the staff nurses and assigning duties to them
  • Planning of staffs leave as per their requirement without disturbing routine of the department
  • Collection of work reports from all the Nsg Incharges regarding their day-to-day activities and maintaining a record of that
  • Supervising the Nsg supervisors, Incharges and Physician Assistants work on daily basis
  • Assisting and conducting induction programme for new nurses, Physician Assistants and continuous nursing education to all staffs of the hospital
  • Taking daily round of that particular department, solving any issues regarding the patient concern
  • Making sure that patient is always at center while giving care to the patient
  • Teaching the patients and family to improve health and hygiene, keeping the patients unit and surrounding clean and tidy, encouraging mobilization

  • Communication with Doctors, patients, other departments and co-workers about what is required for patient care
  • Locating and sharing resources and organizing the patient care
  • Getting Involved with clinical supervision and infection control policy like disinfection of soiled linen, strict aseptic techniques for all sterile procedures, hand washing prior and after all procedures, proper disposal of biological and non-biological waste materials, Isolation and treatment of infected patients
  • Enforcing all staffs to adhere with hospital policies and follow infection control guidelines
  • Motivating the staffs, carrying out cultural activities and appraising the staffs for good job
