BOM Management in SAP:
• Responsible for BOM (creation of BOM and service BOM for new models, BOM corrections, and updates), and managing all SAP-related work and documents (ECN - Engineering Change Note and BCN - BOM Change Note).

New Part Development:
• Responsibilities include benchmarking, 3D modeling, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) design verification, part reliability, and product testing.
• From market research, we developed Jet Wash features for the top-load washing machine.
Cost savings & localization:
• Cost savings of approximately. Rs 800 per machine by improving and localizing mechanical and electrical components. Major Project: (motor pulley, main board, New Flange design and display PCB; cabinet sheet 0.6 mm to 0.5 mm; packaging box 5-ply to 3-ply, raw material commonization, Top Cover, and Control Panel Facia Change etc).
Production support for technical and 3F issues:
Responsibilities include issue analysis, logic tree and 5 Whys analysis, process capability, ECNs, countermeasures, and improvement plan project handled.
• Elimination of the non-uniform gap problem, tub cover, and balancer ring in top- loading washing machines.
• Elimination of balancer leakage observed during production and market complaints. IMPACT: First-time right percentage improvement, and service complaint rate reduced.
• Service complaint rate reduction of many parts.
• Elimination of draining problems in top-loading machines related to leakage and
the drain valve. Impact: Reduction in service complaint rate, and productivity improvement.
Routine Work:
Production line technical issues resolved.
• Part assembly line trials, pre-MP, and verifications.
Responsible for carrying out benchmarking of competitors' products in terms of technology, features, and cost.
• Usage of GD&T for drawings to meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
• Basics of ISO Standards. (ISO-14001,9001,45001).
Usage of Adobe Illustrator to modify any artwork.
• Design modification, label design, and artwork creation.
