- Bell Canada BC De Harm and PEI Harm/ Quebec Sales Tax Programs On August 26, 2011, BC Finance Minister announced B.C.
- (British Columbia) is reinstating the GST (Goods Sales Tax) (5%) and B.C.
- Provincial sales tax (PST) (7%) tax system following the referendum decision by British Columbians to extinguish the HST in B.C.
- On September 30 2011 Canada and Quebec signed an MOU agreeing to make best efforts to enter an agreement by April 1 2012, to amend the QST (legislative approval required).
- On May 30 2012, PEI and Canada entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enter into an agreement by October 1 2012 to replace PEI (Prince Edward Island) PST (Provincial Sales Tax) with PEI HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).
- As a result, Bell Canada and BCE will be required to enhance their end-to-end systems & business processes to be compliant with BC Legislation and QC Legislation.
- The development will have to accommodate the removal of tax on tax, the new place of supply rules and any other We performed SFT testing in this project and following were my roles and contribution in this project-.
- Effectively and efficiently lead the whole team to complete the testing of each of the four tax projects.
- Actively involved in Test Plan and Test Strategy preparation.
