1. Volunteer Coordination and Pre-Designathon Planning:
- Initiated an all-volunteer call, defined roles for each team, and facilitated collaboration among nearly 100 volunteers.
- Led the Program Management team, focusing on creating a structured approach for the upcoming designathon.
2. Strategic Goal Setting and Tool Selection:
- Collaborated with teams to set clear goals for workbooks, notion docs, PPTs, and Figjam files, ensuring a streamlined process during the hackathon.
- Strategically selected Figma as the tool for a multi-tracker, aligning with participants' familiarity and reducing the learning curve.
3. Design Thinking Integration:
- Applied design thinking principles to brainstorm and create a multi-tracker, emphasizing ideation, empathy, and testing stages for optimal user understanding.
4. Adaptability and Iterative Development:
- Adapted plans in real-time, addressing challenges, and ensuring efficient completion of deliverables.
- Iteratively refined the multi-tracker based on insights from previous designathon participants and testing with current students/volunteers.
5. Post-Designathon Reflection and Community Building:
- Coordinated efforts post-designathon, encouraging participants to write case studies and internalize knowledge gained.
- Emphasized the importance of community involvement, growth through collaboration, and continuous learning.
