· Facilitate activities related to intensification of routine immunization including introduction of new vaccines, measles elimination and rubella control and surveillance of vaccine preventable diseases

• Provide technical support to government in immunization programme to strengthen Routine Immunization with focus on zero dose children, effective service delivery and urban immunization especially in urban poor

• Designing strategies and integration with Health Systems strengthening activities for achieving >90% Full Immunization coverage. For instance, capacity building of Community Health Officers in Routine immunization and vaccine preventable disease surveillance at Health and Wellness Centres especially in hard to reach and vacant areas where achieving full immunization has been a challenge

• Liaise and coordinate with partner agencies, non-governmental organisations, professional bodies for strengthening surveillance and immunization related activities

• Advocacy with local political leadership and religious leaders on importance of Routine Immunization to increase vaccine demand in the community especially to hesitancy prone urban areas

• Monitoring of programmatic activities by individual monitoring as well as joint monitoring with government counterparts and development agencies in the field to validate, support and provide monitoring feedbacks for amendments and roll out better program planning and implementation outcomes

• Advocacy and liaison with departments like Education, Panchayati Raj, Municipal Corporation, Women and Child Development for implementing various immunization campaigns like Measles Rubella, Intensified Mission Indra Dhanush, DPT/Td school-based campaigns for community mobilization and to achieve better coverage

• Support and management of health emergencies and epidemic containment activities including COVID contact tracing, facilitating documentation of Case investigation forms and COVID 19 vaccination

• Provide technical assistance and strengthening Vaccine Preventable disease surveillance and related outbreak response in coordination with the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP)

• Draft reports and strategic documents required for decision making and implementation at district and state

· In collaboration with University of Manitoba, provided technical support to Government of Uttar Pradesh in reducing maternal and child mortality, by improving Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition

· Capacity building of Frontline Workers of ICDS and NHM to counsel communities of early initiation of breast feeding, exclusive breastfeeding, and importance of diet diversity

· Technical Support for rolling out of ICDS Common Application Software, facilitating Incremental Learning Approach Training, supporting implementation of Community based events, and facilitating the development of convergent Action plans at block and district levels

· Monitoring and Evaluation to support Go UP to enhance the use of data for decision making in terms of data availability, accessibility, quality and use for improved health outcomes

· Identifying opportunity gaps, and prioritize actions in effective coverage cascade for prevention of anaemia in pregnant women and key interventions to strengthen Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition

· Worked under the direct supervision of General Manager - Routine Immunization to Initiate the "Evaluation of service delivery and bottlenecks in Village Health and Nutrition days in 3 blocks of Jammu" in collaboration with J&K Nation Health Mission
