• The work revolved around designing and manufacturing high end car (DAIMLER & BMW) seats.
• Dealt with the metal and mechanism part of the seat which primarily included metallic seat structure and associated mechanisms viz. Backrest mechanism: Taumel, cushion tilt, height adjuster, thigh adjuster et cetera.
• 2013 to 2015 : Worked in the program IBK2 which had variants of BMW and MERCEDES.

Variant launched in 2017.

• 2015 to 2020: Shifted to the program BR223 DAIMLER S Class model.

Responsibility (front seat):

1. Backrest design and mechanism (Taumel).

2. Cushion design and mechanism (Cushion tilt, track design and thigh adjuster).

Responsibility (rear seat):

1. Backrest (recline).

2. Cushion design.

3. Thigh adjuster.

Variant launched in 2022.

• Drafted documentation detailing design requirements and technical specifications.
• Conducted engineering studies on design for products, associated and subsystems components and structures.
• Used CATIA V5 and UGNX software to meet design specifications for functional prototypes.
• Worked with fabricators to test prototypes and develop production processes.
• Took special training for creating various mechanisms in UG NX and went to Solingen, Germany as one person point contact for all mechanism model related work. Coordinated with our teams present in both India and Trencin (Slovakia).
