- Project: Toyota Data Communication Module - TOYOTA DCM24.

• Worked with various communication protocols, like CAN, Ethernet, SOMEIP, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP protocols, and UDS, and automated telematics functionalities for automotive eCall, audio, GNSS, UDS diagnostics, CAN, MQTT, and connectivity within the Data Communication Control Unit (TCU).
• Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 14229, ISO 26262, and ISTQB.
• Hands-on experience in validating location, audio, and eCall ISO standard functional use cases for PAN-EU and ERA regions for certification.
• Responsibility for the software validation of software features and use of different tools like CANoe, PuTTY, Wireshark, Necflasher, and others.
• Identifying the testable requirements from the specification document, deriving the test cases, and updating them in the Application Lifecycle Management Tool (ALM).
• Performed system-level validation and debugging in a Linux environment.
• Guiding the Software Validation Team for the task movements, bug verification, and decision on feature movement to the next quality gate.
• Development and review of test plans, test suites, and test cases; execution of test cases for regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing; and supporting in system integration testing.
• Conducted API testing for the MQTT server (Toyota server); analyzed AWS CloudWatch logs with Python queries for validation.
• Supported for hardware qualification testing for the client and telematics-related specs related to checking the end-to-end communication protocols.
• Identifying the bugs in the ECU software, reporting them to the developers, and involving myself in the technical discussion about the issues raised.

Key Responsibity :-

• Conducting hardware qualification tests to validate ECUs, telematics modules, and connectivity components (WiFi, Bluetooth, CAN, UDS, etc.).
• Collaborating with client engineering teams to resolve hardware and software integration challenges.
• Performing system validation and vehicle testing in real-world automotive environments.
• Ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, 3GPP, etc.).

• Experience in the verification and validation of embedded systems, like ECUs, which included all the features related to in-vehicle infotainment systems.
• Understanding and analysis of the requirements related to pre-integration testing (L1 testing), hardware qualification testing for TMC, and telematics-related specifications.
• Prepare an understanding of requirements, test plan, features testing, and create test cases as per requirements.
• Execution of Test cases, Report generation in ALM and linking it to requirements.
• Report the issues or bugs found by raising a ticket on Elvis.
