Project: HyphenSocial

Developing an intuitive web application to facilitate connections between brands and publishers. Brands can manage their products while publishers promote these products on a commission basis. The platform supports three user roles: Brands, Publishers, and Super Admin.

Role:

• Designed and implemented the database architecture, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Stripe Integration: Integrated Stripe for brand users to add payment cards, handle ACH payments, and manage payment deductions. This included:

1. Setting up customer profiles.
2. Implementing secure bank account and card addition.
3. Handling payment processing and deductions seamlessly.

• Developed robust service APIs to support various functionalities of the application.
• Authored comprehensive test cases to ensure the reliability and performance of the application.

Project : Spotmap

Developed Spotmap, a social media app for Android and iOS enabling user interaction through friend connections, spot check-ins, geofence handling, and spot ratings. The app allows experience sharing, maintains user profiles, and features a map screen to visualize friend locations and plan visits.Implemented a map screen for users to visualize the locations of their friends and plan spot visits accordingly

Role:

• Develop and implement backend functionalities to support various features of the application, including user authentication, data processing, business logic implementation, and third-party integrations
• Ensure backend functionalities are robust, scalable, and maintainable
• Provide technical support to the mobile development team, assisting with backend integrations and resolving any backend-related issues
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure the reliability, performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain the database structure to efficiently store and retrieve data.

Project: Inflection-Web Scraping

Developed a web scraping application for GoodHire to extract criminal records and data from diverse US court sources. Aimed at aggregating information into a unified schema for comprehensive analysis and processing in support of GoodHire's background screening services.

• Applied excellent analytical skills to interpret and analyze the scraped data. Extracted valuable insights from the gathered information, identified patterns and trends.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities to address challenges encountered during scraping operations.

Role:

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Design, develop, and maintain web scrapers to extract data from various sources such as websites, APIs, and databases. Implement scraping algorithms and techniques to efficiently gather relevant data for the project requirements.

• Create comprehensive test cases for the developed scrapers to ensure their functionality, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scraping functionalities. Provide technical expertise and support to address any challenges or bugs encountered during the development and deployment of scrapers.

Project: Dressyourface

Developed a beauty tutorial app for Android and iOS, targeting makeup artists in training, professionals, beginners, beauty enthusiasts, and hair stylists. The app offers cost-effective, convenient access to makeup and hair techniques and updates on new trends.

Role:

• Collaborate with the frontend team to design and develop robust and efficient service APIs that meet the requirements of the application. Ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend components of the system.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using appropriate technologies and frameworks
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for backend services
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Project: MicroChill

Developed MicroChill, an instant messaging app for iOS with a Django backend. It supports group and one-on-one chats, featuring secure messaging that deletes messages for specific users once read. Users can add contacts as friends for seamless interaction.

Technology Used: Python, Django Framework, Send-bird Platform API's ,Rest API's, Firebase cloud messaging

Project: Intragrid

This project is a web-based application developed using Python and Angular. It serves as a company portal system, encompassing multiple applications for managing various aspects of employee engagement and administration. These include functionalities such as managing employee leaves, tracking projects, recognizing employees with kudos, and celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with features for liking and commenting on posts.

• Learned new materials, processes, and programs quickly.
• Shadowed senior team members to learn all related jobs and tasks.
• Attended training courses to build understanding of processes, techniques, and industry.
• Participated in on-the-job training, working closely with supervisors and coworkers and asking appropriate questions.
