Credit bureau reporting (NFRR)

  • Checking and timely submission of credit bureau reporting to four bureaus (TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, CRIF Highmark, and Equifax) on a monthly (now fortnightly) basis. Analysis of rejection logs and filing revised returns for rejected cases within TAT.
  • Reviewed and interpreted RBI regulations to ensure alignment with reporting. Ensured timely updates, adherence to RBI circulars, notifications, and compliance timelines.
  • Collaborated with the team to implement regulatory changes into the daily process. Monitored ongoing compliance and recommended process adjustments wherever needed, which improved the overall Data Quality index from 55% in 2020 to 92% at present, and the Data Quality report from 60% in 2023 to 99% at present.
  • Cleared a major backlog of open hanging accounts (non-updated accounts) for all four bureaus by filing OLMs with the bureaus.
