• TITLE : FACE AUTHENTICATION BASED SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM In this project, we have designed a system that is using local binary patterns histogram algorithm for identifying a face. It can recognize both front and side faces and upgrade the value of poor enlightened picture and also expands the recognition rate in real time. Also it will count the people who are presented in frame. The project focuses on implementing a surveillance system that leverages face authentication using the Local Binary Patterns Histogram (LBPH) method. LBPH is a powerful image descriptor used for facial recognition, which analyzes pixel patterns to create a unique signature for each face. The system captures live video feeds and uses LBPH to detect and authenticate individuals in real time. By comparing the extracted face patterns against a preregistered database, the system can accurately identify authorized personnel and flag any unknown individuals. Key features of the system include high-speed face detection, low computational cost, and the ability to function effectively under varying lighting conditions. This system has potential applications in areas such as access control, security surveillance, and automated monitoring
