[We created thin films through 'Sputtering'. Sputtering is a physical vapor deposition (PVD) process where energetic ions bombard a solid material (target), ejecting its atoms or molecules, which then travel to and form a thin film on a substrate. (It was the first step second step of our research was to develop CO2 sensor, which is described in the later sections]
