• Handling end to end GST compliances of HUL and its subsidiaries.
• Implementation of a global project named Future of Taxation which included automation and transition of return preparation activities and handling of monthly tax audits carried out by Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd.
• Handling tax audits by Govt Department and CAD audits
• Carrying out end to end reconciliations for one time book cleanup and hygiene maintenance
• Streamlining of processes under various projects like E-way bill process which required end to end SAP integration with GSTN portal, Automation of vendor reconciliation process and implementation of frequent changes in legal provisions to ensure 100% compliance
• Ensuring maximum ITC unlock by implementation of different business models to unlock value stuck in less operational areas and leading internal corrections and vendor communications across the company within the legal timeline to minimize ITC loss.

Joined Hindustan Unilever limited in March’20 in Bill to Cash team and worked on these areas:

Operational activities:

• Managed branch operations as a business partner and controller.
• Handled day to day branch activities to support business like daily resumptions, ACH onboarding, credit execution and its monitoring.
• Monitored and stabilized collection and bouncing system automation.
• Monitoring and governance of unrecovered bouncing to ensure minimum exposure.

Controls:

• Led review of debtor ageing on PAN level and its resolution.
• Monthly and quarterly credit limit and risk category review in line with global credit management policy for all General Trade business channels.
• Led monitoring and reset of credit limits and risk category on PAN level as an annual reset activity in line with global credit management policy.

Projects:

• GSK integration: Transition and merger of GSK sales & customer deposits in HUL system and controls around it.
• Automation of collection and bouncing accounting processes via BOTs.
• Development of PowerBI Banking dashboard to drive significant banking KPIs.
• ChatBOT: A tool for customer experience enhancement that accommodates customers to get better visibility to banking aspects and real time query resolution.
• Digital worker/ Employee twin: Automation of various banking MIS along with master updation activities to reduce manual intervention and resulting manual errors, thereby strengthening controls.
• Credit policy implementation: Initiated credit limit and risk category implementation on GT, KA, RD, ICD, OOH and water business channels as per Global guidelines and subsequent automations across various platforms to accommodate changes as per credit policy
• TDS implementation: Implementation of section 194R under Income tax act for GT, KA, RD, ICD, OOH and water business channels.

• Handled Statutory Audits for banks like State Bank of India.
• Handled Internal/Concurrent audits for RBI, banks like Canara, BOI and companies like HEG Ltd
• Handles various compliance activities like ROC filing, Income tax return filing, GST return filing, preparation of financial statements etc.
