Projects

Handled a project on convicts, have interviewed them using questionnaires for data collection individually. The topic of the dissertation was 'A Psychological Study on the Convicts of the Central Jails of Kolkata'. Assessment of some psychological factors of the convicts in comparison with non-convict population was done. Individual interaction was maintained with each of the convicts who gave data in a particular chamber. The method of data collection was interview, partial case study (as much was possible to collection maintaining the confidentiality factor), and questionnaires. Data was collected from both male and female convicts from 'Alipore Central Correctional Homes and Presidency Correctional Home- Kolkata'
