- Suncorp Bank is a part of ANZ (Australia and New Zealand banking group) Group which basically provides services such as personal banking, home loan, business banking etc. As part of this project, have been working under DPOA (Data Program of Action) Team. Which mainly involves reducing banks server data risk to a moderate rate by providing structure to the collection, use, governance, storage, and treatment of Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
- Some of the applications worked upon are NPP-New Payment Platform (Accommodation of international payment-Outbound transfer of funds from Suncorp), CRS(Common Reporting Standard) FACTA Invalid Tins Report (Generation of report(.csv file) containing list of customer who are having invalid Tins-Tax Identifier Number), KYC- Know your customer PII Data Treatment (Masking of PII Data for the customers who are non-active for more than 7 years), Customer Exclusion (Hard deletion of old and inactive customer) along with impact analysis for the same.
- Actively participating in the analysis phase after the requirement gathering, which consists of providing the list of affected objects/areas, solution path, estimate in-order to complete the end-to-end task which also involves support during the warranty period.
- Using DataStage as an ETL tool to extract data from source systems which are in the form of files. These files are loaded to landing tables via Acquisition layer, build staging view on top of acquisition tables, generate synonyms for Subapps, build insights on synonyms, work on extract delivery where the final output is shared to the Business via Cognos report or by sending email notification which mainly contains the path where final file is loaded.
- Widely used different types of DataStage stages like sequential file stage, exec, sequence jobs, DB2 stage, copy, aggregator, surrogate key, transformer, dataset, look up, join, remove duplicates, external source, sorter, column generators, CDC, funnel, loops etc.
