JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and organizing production schedules, as well as meeting daily, weekly, and monthly plans by effective utilization of resources.
• Ensure Material & Manpower planning in advance to run all lines smoothly,
• Ensure the Timely Work Order closing,
• Daily SFG Review meeting with the production and PPC team.
• Review Defect rate of all line & work on improvement with line leaders.
• To ensure the overall performance of the production equipment available in the production shop floor
• Responsible for maintaining the processes that are capable of consistently meeting the customer requirement
• To conduct the daily production meeting to review the previous day's performance and follow up pending action
• Ensure all consumables stock are available on the shop floor, also take follow up for purchasing new consumables
• To monitor & measure the skills of the operators and initiate suitable action to improve the operator skills.
• To continually improve the production process in terms of productivity, quality, resources and safety of operating personnel.
• Managed shift operations to ensure smooth and efficient production workflow.
• Supervised a team of operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Achieved daily production targets by optimizing manpower and machine utilization.
• Maintained accurate shift production reports, downtime analysis, and incident logs.
• Maintain real-time shift reports, including production data, downtime, scrap rates, and workforce attendance.
• Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to operators and workers to ensure optimal performance and compliance with SOPs
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and other departments to resolve issues and improve productivity.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve productivity and performance goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Review and analyze daily production reports, including shift output, downtime causes, quality rejections, and material usage, and take corrective actions where necessary.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement practices to enhance overall plant performance.
• Ensure all raw materials, components, and tools required for production are available and in good condition, coordinating with the stores or warehouse as needed.
• Lead by example to maintain discipline, boost employee morale, and build a performance-driven work culture on the production floor.
• Conducted detailed handovers at the end of each shift to ensure the continuity of operations. Shared updates on production status, machine performance, quality issues, and pending tasks with the next shift Incharge.
