Associated with Raniganj (South) CBM asset since 2007.
Contributed significantly throughout exploration, data analysis, and field development plan (FDP) preparation process, as well as development drilling.
As a team lead, a static and dynamic simulation model for Raniganj (South) CBM Block was developed to understand the future prospect.
Performed G&G and engineering studies and executed 16 core wells and 156 production wells which include both vertical and deviated wells.
Introduced Cobra Max hydraulic fracturing design of coal bed methane wells with Halliburton.
Monitored 1000+ Coal Bed fracturing jobs.
Experience in estimating Original Gas-In-Place for entire field using mapping software like Petrosys and LMKR Geographix.
Experience in determination of Reserves and Resources in accordance with PRMS.
Coordinated with Advanced Resources International (ARI) for time-to-time production wells review, operational review for optimized gas production.
Involved with ECBM feasibility study by N2 injection for Raniganj South CBM field with DeGolyer and MacNaughton.
Coordinating with DGH for FDP approval, Steering Committee Meetings, various field review meetings, Steering Committee Meetings and Presentations.
Worked closely with Production team for understanding Gas-water production trend, fluid level drawdown, BHP profile, etc. for production optimization.
Experience in conducting remedial jobs in CBM wells like acid treatment, cement repair, scaling issues, sand control, etc.
Software experience like IHS Petra, LMKR Geographix, Petrosys, Schlumberger Petrel, Comet-3 Simulator, CMG simulator, Fast CBM, AutoCAD etc.
Experience in G&G mapping and interpretation like Project Setup, gridding, contouring, volume estimation, geophysical log interpretation etc.
Experience in downstream monitoring for evacuation of gas optimally etc.
