More than 30 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of material handling circuit including yard equipment (Wagon Tippler, Stacker cum reclaimer, Side Arm Charger), Lime Kilns with all its accessories (Gas Boosters, Blowers, hydraulics, pollution control equipment etc)
Was responsible for mechanical maintenance of a one million ton capacity Lime Plant with its material handling area, process equipment and pollution control at an availability of >90% at a optimum cost and inventory level
Safety and environment were the prime focus area
Just retired as Head of Mechanical Maintenance of Lime Plant, Logistics and IBMD, Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, has worked extensively in Sinter Plant also
