April 2024 – Present.

Automation and Feature Validation.

• Worked extensively on the TEACAT automation framework to automate L2/L3 network configuration and validation using Python, PyATS/Genie, covering VLANs, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, DHCP, NTP, AAA, and SNMP.
• Developed detailed test plans and test cases based on software specifications and business requirements, and implemented automation scripts to reduce manual effort, and improve team productivity.
• Automated DHCP sanity script using Python to verify all basic DHCP functionalities such as IP allocation, lease renewal, and connectivity.
• Created reusable Python libraries for IPv6 feature validation, including DHCPv6 (relay/server/client), Prefix Delegation, Neighbour Discovery (ND), and IPv6 DNS resolution.
• Developed automation scripts to monitor multi-device health, automate image installation, and validate device reachability, improving operational efficiency and deployment reliability.

Regression Ownership

• Owned and executed the complete pi-infra regression suites (545+ automation scripts), covering critical features like INSTALL, SMU, ISSU, NGSVL, DHCP, and AAA.
• Performed regression cycles every 10 days on new release images to ensure functional validation and stability readiness prior to release.
• Debugged and resolved failed test cases, including testbed issues, script failures, and functional deviations, to maintain regression health and execution consistency.
• Optimised 300+ automation scripts (cleanup, logic corrections, testbed fixes), improving regression stability and achieving a 94% First Pass Rate (FPR).
• Prepared comprehensive regression summary reports and presented findings to stakeholders before release submission.

Lab Exposure and Testbed Management.

• Brought up network devices and designed multi-device topologies to support functional validation activities.
• Built and validated 3-, 5-, and 8-device stack formations on Cisco Catalyst 9300 and 9500H platforms for high availability and feature validation testing.
• Configured and verified physical and logical topology setups, ensuring redundancy, stability, and consistency across lab environments.
• Strong understanding of topology design, stack architecture, and testbed preparation for L2/L3 validation workflows.

• Developed functional and regression test plans covering critical software features based on product requirements.
• Conducted functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and fixing the script issues by raising AUTONs.
• Contributed to L2/L3 protocol automation and enhanced regression workflows to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Ported 40+ automation scripts into regression profiles, enabling end-to-end validation across both switches and routers.
• Performed LUX porting for 90+ scripts by generating new testbed and cleanup files using a custom Python utility, improving script compatibility and execution stability.
• Maintained device and lab stability across multiple test environments, ensuring consistent and reliable regression outcomes.
