As an Area Head at HDFC Bank, I am responsible for achieving annual budgeted business numbers with a team of Sales Officers in the assigned geographical area. I handle transaction and investment banking products for retail institutional clients, including Municipal Corporations, State Governments, Govt. PF Trusts, Embassies, Gram Panchayats, Govt. Boards & Development Authorities, Defence, and Autonomous Bodies.


I create rapport with the top management of all the clientele, generate leads for other banking products, work closely with the Retail Branch for ensuring efficient service, and manage high value government relationships. I also drive digital enablement, working with the digital banking team to extract more business from the Government Departments. I have successfully achieved monthly sales targets and facilitated virtual webinars, physical training sessions, and events for the Govt.

  • Credavenue is a financial services-based platform which acts as an aggregator between corporate borrowers and lenders and it operates across five different lines of business-Colending, Credloans, Supply Chain Finance, Plutus and Real Estate Infrastructure and has almost 3000+borrowers and 500+ lenders
  • As a Partnership Manager, I had to make sure that I reach out to CAs, Investment bankers, DSAs and financial consultants to get them enrolled in our Credavenue channel partnership program and ensure that each of them submits at least five deals related to Colending, Credaloans, Supply Chain Finance, Plutus and Real Estate Infrastructure
  • Based on the interest expressed by various lenders in the platform, my responsibility was to conduct the meetings between connectors, borrowers, lenders and the relationship manager for the particular product for which the deal has been submitted and ensure that the engagement letter is signed by the borrowers and the process of disbursal takes place without any hindrance
  • On a monthly basis, I had to make sure that at least 50 connectors are onboarded onto our ecosystem through leads provided by the marketing team in the HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and also, by approaching various CA firms and Investment banking firms and on a quarterly basis had to generate revenue worth 200 crores from midcorp and largecorp enterprises and also 50 crores from LAP deals.
