Strategic Sourcing & Cost Reduction:

• Work with global factories on developing sourcing strategies for existing and new product developments
• Review commodity sourcing strategies, strategic supplier onboarding, and supplier spend management
• Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
• Source and manage Castings, Hydraulic Hoses, Fittings, and Hardware
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems
• Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities
• Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings through negotiations
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
• Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
