SymbiPredict – disease prediction using machine learning

• Developed a machine learning-based web application to predict diseases from user-selected symptoms using models like logistic regression, random forest, SVM, KNN, and XGBoost
• Achieved the highest model accuracy of 99.04% with logistic regression on a dataset of over 248,000 records, covering 377 symptoms and 773 diseases
• Built and deployed an interactive web interface using Flask, enabling real-time, user-friendly symptom input, and prediction
• Applied data preprocessing, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation using Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost)

Fetal health classification|Machine learning                                                             JUN-2024

• The project created a predictive model from classification algorithms (Random Forest, SVM, Logistic Regression) to predict fetal health as normal, suspect, or pathological, and achieved more than 95% accuracy on test sets with feature engineering and hyperparameter search
