In my current role at Progrow Farm and Rural Mission Pvt Ltd, I have gained extensive experience in technology development, product design, and agri-advisory. I have been responsible for overseeing the user experience of the product from conception until launch, planning and conducting user research, defining product roadmap for agri-advisory, and creating Standard Operating Procedures for crop cultivation and crop monitoring through Agri-Technology. I have also developed custom data models and machine learning algorithms to apply to data sets and implemented strategies to monitor farms using satellite imagery, IoT sensors, and monitor outcomes. Additionally, I have facilitated financial lending based on data-driven Agri-advisory and integrated Farm monitoring.
In my previous role at Archeron Group, I conceptualized and designed the workflows for Archeron Group Agri-Tech Platform by leveraging geospatial technology and its application. I also developed a deep learning model to predict county level Soybean and Corn Yields for the USA and district level Groundnut Yields for Gujarat using Remote Sensing Satellite data. Additionally, I created pipelines for working with different satellite image products in Python, including download, pre-processing, and storage of data for SENTINEL-1, SENTINEL-2, LANDSAT, MODIS, PLANET LABS, WORLDVIEW-2, and WORLDVIEW-3 satellites for real-time analysis.
My experience also includes academic projects such as AI-Based Crop Modelling Using Drone Based Hyperspectral and Weather Data and GIS-Based Application for Efficient Solid Waste Disposal. Additionally, I have taken courses in Advanced Satellite Image Processing, Geospatial Predictive Modeling, Remote Sensing and GIS Applications to Mineral and Hydrocarbon Exploration, Principles of Geographic Information System, and Principles of Remote Sensing.
I am proficient in Python and have experience working with software and tools such as MATLAB, ArcGIS 10.3, Quantum GIS, ERDAS Imagine, ENVI 5.1, Android Studio, PostgreSQL, MySQL, LATEX, RStudio, and Minitab. I also have hands-on experience working with Synthetic Aperture Radar data (from Sentinel 1 Satellite) and Optical Imagery data (from LANDSAT, Sentinel 2, MODIS, Planet Labs) in Python.
