Experienced researcher with focus on areas related to Ecology and Development
1. Support the outreach efforts and operations of Indian Commoner forum. This will include developing short lecture series and workshops on relevant themes, identifying and onboarding App Developer to improve access and usability, and recruiting, orienting and managing the Indian Commoner team.
2. Coordinate with FES Krapavis and CenSE team in operationalising Luni Project over the project period. This will include supporting the outreach initiatives in the villages along the Luni river in Nagaur and Pali through exhibitions, engaging with community leaders, participating in workshops.
3. Support initiatives under the Rainfed Livestock Network (RLN), develop long-term research proposals and lead research initiatives on the themes of Pastoralists and Forests and community stewardship.
4. Provide strategic guidance to design and operationalize the Center for Commons.
5. Ideate on the next edition of the biennial publication, ‘Our Commons’.
6. Mentor the Research & Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation team in identifying critical questions, developing and executing innovative field-based research and improve qualitative research methods skills.
Developed and Taught Multiple courses in Ecology and Development. Was member of Curriculum and Pedagogy Committee, Advisor University Research Centre, Chair Open course Committee.
