Projects

FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT USING ARDUINO

  • Developed a cost-effective, dual-mode (autonomous and manual) fire-fighting robot using Arduino Uno.
  • Integrated IR flame sensors for real-time fire detection within a 1-meter range with
  • Designed a servo-controlled water nozzle system for precise and targeted fire suppression.
  • Implemented manual control via a custom Android mobile application connected through Bluetooth (HC-05 module) with
  • Incorporated efficient power management using a 12V lithium-ion battery and voltage regulators to ensure stable, safe operation.
  • Achieved full directional control with 180-degree servo motor rotation for flame targeting.
  • System designed for small-scale environments such as homes, laboratories, schools, and warehouses.

PWM GENERATION USING VERILOG ON FPGA

  • PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is a technique used to encode a message into a pulsing signal by varying the width of the pulse.
  • This technique is commonly used in digital systems.
  • To generate PWM using Verilog in an FPGA, you can use a counter to control the frequency of the pulse and a comparator to set the duty cycle
  • By changing the value of the duty cycle input, you can adjust the duty cycle of the PWM signal and control the power delivered to the load

INTERFACING GYROMETER WITH STM32

  • STM32F103C8 is an ARM Cortex-M3 based microcontroller which combines processing power, memory and interfaces in one chip for embedded systems.
  • MPU-650 sensor contains a MEMS accelerometer and a MEMS gyro in a single chip.
  • This project teaches microcontroller interfacing with hardware.
  • Enables precise motion monitoring and provides practical skills applicable in automation.
