Key design and development projects executed-

  • Ejector system for the easy removal of the component from die for 1000 ton mechanical press

-Structural design depending on the customer feedback and historical data.

  • Stroke Indicator system for 400 ton drag link mechanism driven press, involving 2D structural modeling.
  • Modification of the standard drive wheel assembly of moving bolster in 400 ton drag link mechanism driven mechanical press as a cost saving measure.
  • Kinematic analysis and motion profiles of different linkage mechanisms such as eccentric drive, drag link, knuckle joint mechanism based on the required press specifications like nominal tonnage, rated distance, stroke length using Python.
  • Gear train design for hot forging mechanical press, expanding the company's product range.

Stability behavior of FG-CNT panels under combined loading conditions

  • This project aims at the application aspect of modified CNTs (carbon nanotubes) in those areas where strength to weight ratio is very crucial such as aerospace.
  • FG-X configuration was found to be the better among the considered configurations.

Fracture analysis of Fuselage wing bracket

  • This project aims at the determination of various parameters of fracture analysis of a Fuselage wing joint, which is usually used in airplanes.
  • The project was done using Solidworks and Ansys (FEA).

Simulation of cavitation in a flow valve

  • In this project, the simulation of cavitation in a flow valve was done to detect the formation of cavitation in a flow valve under certain conditions.
  • The project was done using Solidworks and Ansys (CFD).

Numerical and experimental analysis of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine

Through this project, a miniaturized wind turbine is being analyzed, both
