Curriculum research and teacher training: SCERT, Chhattisgarh
· Module development and training of trainers (TOT) on comprehensive and cumulative Examination (CCE in social science), coordination of in-service teachers training, research and field practice during 2011-2014.
· Research and curriculum designing for the Diploma in Elementary Education in open learning method in in- service teachers training during the period 2012-2014.
· Research and curriculum designing for SMC members on Gender in School- community relation, organize TOT at state and district level, ethnographic research on SMC formation and functioning during the period 2012- 2014.
Curriculum research and text book development: SCERT Chhattisgarh
· Social Science textbook writing for class IX and X with SCERT Chhattisgarh in 2013- 2015. The work comprises various aspects of textbook writing including conceptualizing curriculum, topics, establishing inter-class and intra- class progression in concepts, ideas and course content, writing chapters for books.
Academic Coordination: Curriculum research and module development
· The work comprises overall coordination of academic research, working as a team member of foundation in various states across India. module development team across the foundation-Organizing regular workshops, review processes, module writing etc.
· As a part of ongoing teacher training curriculum development research organize thematic teacher training workshops for Upper primary- secondary/ higher secondary school teachers in three states- Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, collect feedback at school level and published final module.
Large scale Research
· Lead the data collection process of large-Scale Skill Development Student Survey in collaboration with University of Pennsylvania. This project comprises various work of survey execution including training of surveyors, implementation of survey, ensuring quality of data etc. Devesh Kapur & Megha Aggarwal from University of Pennsylvania was chief investigators of this research project.
Secondary research: State and district profiling
· Prepare district and state profiling of Chhattisgarh by using various secondary sources including census, human development report, National Sample survey reports, DISE, academic achievement data etc.
Direct engagements with school education system in Dhamtari district
· Academic need analysis: organizing Cluster level meeting with teachers, Identification of prospective resource teachers in all subject, Workshop on Lesson planning of various subjects. Organize subject wise by-monthly meeting. Organizing monthly meeting with Cluster coordinators at block.
· Regular analysis of student’s personal accounts, annual reports and case studies in order to prepare continuous progress assessment reports of students.
· Conducted training workshop for field team on action research and reflective practice.
· Review of developed language approach paper and study materials in socio- cultural context of Saharia community.
· Conduct training workshops with government teachers of project catchment area periodically.
· Systematic observation analysis of classroom interaction pattern between Saharia and non Saharia students in primary classes
