  • VMware, Inc. is an American cloud computing and virtualisation technology company with headquarters in California. VMware was the first commercially successful company to virtualise the x86 architecture.
  • As a Product Owner I am responsible for participating in the Discovery and Framing sessions, performing current state analysis, take down high level business requirements, identifying high-level solutions and propose a high-level solution for VMware LTD.
  • I was instrumental in contributing towards onboarding multiple mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects to the existing VMWare Platform starting from feature mapping to object mapping to field level mapping.
  • Create high quality user stories in the product backlog using JIRA and prioritise them through Sprints as per the business priority and product roadmap.
  • Conduct grooming sessions to convert high level business requirements to workable user stories.
  • Conduct sessions with Technical Architects and Developers for detailed solutioning and showcase the solutions to Business stake holders for alignment and approvals.

  • Project Work:
  • SaaS transformation project was created to onboard new mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to the existing VMWare sales platform. This included the modules starting from Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunity Management, CPQ(Configure, Quote, Pricing), Order Management etc. We have also enabled the data models for various integration and reporting purpose. The objective is to bring in the new acquired companies’ processes and data to the VMWare systems.
  • I am also a PO for Service Cloud in case management and the portal developments.· Have exposure for rolling out multiple Salesforce Lightning applications for multiple geographies from Classic platform.
  • Have also played as product owner for Full stack applications where VMware has developed customer portal, admin control and product hub (ACPQ). Recently VMware is also retiring the Oracle ERP platform , so I am responsible for Building the entire product realignment to cloud native applications.

  • Milgard implementing Oracle Application R12 on Oracle On-demand environment for their Rig solution business division. As an implementation project, this required various integration between different modules and customization in various oracle standard processes. Almost all the modules in Oracle Application like Finance (Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Banking and Fixed Asset), Manufacturing, Projects, and Order Management were implemented.
  • Netapps project was designed for B2B customer Quote to Cash using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Oracle ERP. I had played a key role in B2B business model as a technical lead.
