Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Project for CO2 Injection and Storage: Leading efforts to evaluate and estimate petrophysical properties crucial for identifying suitable geological zones for CO2 injection and long-term storage. This includes a detailed analysis of subsurface formations to ensure their viability as secure storage sites.
Well Log Data Conditioning, Splicing, and Merging: Performing comprehensive conditioning, splicing, and merging of well log data as a foundational step in the petrophysical evaluation process. This includes cleaning and aligning data from various sources to create a unified dataset that enhances the accuracy of subsequent petrophysical analysis.
Estimation of Petrophysical Properties: Utilizing well log data to estimate key petrophysical properties, such as Volume of Shale (VSH), porosity, and permeability, iscritical for assessing the storage capacity and sealing integrity of potential CO2 reservoirs.
Identification of Suitable Injection Zones: Integrating petrophysical data and analysis to identify and delineate optimal geological formations for CO2 injection. This involves evaluating the storage potential and ensuring the containment of injected CO2 for long-term environmental and operational safety.
