Summary

I am a Mechanical Engineering(Graduate),Graduated from Bihar College of Engineering(Patna) now known as NIT Patna, Bihar, India.I started my carrier as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department of AL- Kabir Polytechnic, located at Jamshedpur,Jhrakhand India in the Year-1998 and remained there up-to may-2003 and taught various subjects as a Faculty member.During that period I was also allowed to teach in coaching for the Class Xth, XIth and XIIth as well and still teaching as my part time job because it is my Passion. In the year may-2003 I switched-over to a Uttar Pradesh Government owned Thermal Power Station of installed capacity 10,000MW(Approx) in Uttar Pradesh, India and is still working here. I successfully handled various divisions in the 20yearsof my carrier with my team like Operation of 3X210MW operation, 2X500 MW maintenance works of Ash Handling,Procurement(Purchase and Central Store),Planning division, Transport division, Construction division of BOP, 2X250 MW Bowl Mill operation and maintenance & and 1X660 MW Operation General & Chemistry division. Presently working as a Superintending Engineer(DY.GM) in Control and Instrumentation Circle.

If I get a better opportunity willcertainly switch-over there to ensure my target of sharing my knowledge and of-course getting it from others for the betterment of the Company/Organization and me as well.

SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER(Operation & Maintenance) From dated:- 26.05.2003 to Till date

Working as a manager for Control & Instrumentation Division-I and II are under the control and managing all the C&I works of the Plant as a whole for 3X210 MW, M/s BHEL make power station. Maintaining of equipment that are used for monitoring and control of machinery and their processes so that C&I instruments/equipment that are used in measurement & control of unit parameters help to run the nos. of control systems like feed flow control system, condensate system, steam temperature control system, air flow control system, Furnace draft control system, vibration monitoring system etc. in auto mode and also incorporate the calibration of field instruments and upgradation/modification of C&I system. In control system actuators of Gate valves, Dampers, control valves, feeder control system, BFP scoop system, Interlock & Protections. Using M/s BHEL, M/s Rotark, M/s Limitorque make valves are being used., EHC system, ATRS, DCS(Max-DNA, Hitachi make.) In control system all parameters like temperature(RTD, Local Gauge) thermocouple, pressure(Transmitters, Local Gauge),Flow meter(Transmitters),Level(Transmitter),SWAS system(pH, Conductivity, Silica), Flue Gas system(Sox, NOx, CO2), Flame Scanner, Different types of recorders, indicators, Annunciation system) etc.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Operation & Maintenance-Rotating Equipment & Chemistry division)

Operation General & Chemistry Division (Toshiba Japan Make 1X660 MW Unit)

Tasked with the complete maintenance/annual and capital overhauling works by open, limited and single offer tendering process of various types of Pumps(Centrifugal & reciprocating types), various testing for steam and water, oil, coal etc. All the works be carried-out by E-tendering process as per requirement. Supervising day to day maintenance activities(In shift). Performing inspection on regular basis to follow-up on work progress of all aspects ensuring work progress is carried-out as per approved work schedule and appropriate resources are allocated while highlighting any non-conformance to the Mechanical Engineer to ensure prompt and necessary action. Review and analysis of maintenance data and associated cost to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost optimisation. Esure adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures and controls so that the safety and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

The total Project Cost handled was of USD 1,27,68,51,000.00.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Operation & Maintenance-Rotating Equipment)

Bowl Mill for 2X250 MW (BHEL Make- XRP-903), M/s BHEL make

Tasked with the complete maintenance/annual and capital overhauling works by open, limited and single offer tendering process of rotary equipment like 12 Nos. Of Bowl Mills (XRP-903) with their RC-Feeders, HAD/CAD/HAG/CAG and their ducts etc. Similarly maintenance/annual and capital overhauling works 04 Nos. PA, ID, FD and Seal air Fans & its ducts. Gate & Damper Maintenance for continuous generation of electricity with their rated capacity, maximum PLF and cost effective. All the works be carried-out by E-tendering process as per site requirement. Maintenance of coal Pipe lines of various diameters and compositions. Preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages and O/H activities, troubleshooting and modification of related mechanical machinery in accordance with the plans, plant availability and equipment reliability. Assign resources for the schedule preventive maintenance/break-down maintenance and major repair jobs to enable optimal functionality of related machinery in0line with quality standards and provide timely completion of all jobs while reporting and deviations to the Mechanical Engineer for action.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Operation)

Operational Head (For 2X250 MW Units, Make-BHEL, India)

Led efforts in guiding the Assistant Engineers/Junior Engineers, Operators and skilled labourers for the safe operation of2X250 MW Unit and generating electricity with maximum PLF and least consumption of resources like coal/DM water/ manpower with complete safety to achieve the goal be cost effective. All the running parameters be run within normal range like Axial shift of rotor of turbine, its bearing vibration, PA Header., SA/PA flow etc. In case of Power failure or other cause the Unit be Boxed-up safely to avoid any damage to equipments or their spares.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Construction- Erection & Commissioning)

Balance of Plant (BOP)

BOP (Balance of plant) work for erection & commissioning of 2X500 MW M/s BHEL-Make.Engaged in erection & commissioning works of 04 Nos. CLCT (Closed Loop Cooling Towers), Coal Handling plant, DM Plant, LDO/HFO Tank fabrication and carrying pipelines, Air compressor and laying Pipelines for water and air, Ash handling plants including 17 Km long pipe lines. All types of test DT and NDT carried-out during erection as required in design. Units Erection and Commissioning up-to COD. Supervising the activities and work of the team members to confirm the targets and objectives are achieved and the plan is delivered in exact in-line with the required processes, procedures and policies. Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical mechanical equipment as per the recommendation of the OEM and provide technical support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost and timeline objectives are met.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (Procurement, Material Management& Inventory Control),

For 2X500 MW, Toshiba Japan Make Unit

Accountable for handling Operation and Maintenance works with Procurement of materials/ Store Div. for 2X500 MW Unit. Purchase Orders be done as per requirement of user divisions by E-tendering as Open/limited/single offer basis process after approval from competing authority, spare parts purchasing as per the user division requirement. Execution Purchase Orders by liasioning with the company to ensure the required availability of material to all the user divisions and reduce the Generation loss, oil consumption faced on account of the non- availability of material at site. Minimizing inventory without hampering the work as much as possible. Ensure all documentation for the activities are completed in SAP correctly including the maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used to support timely availability of information. Monitor spare parts requirement for different activities and facilitate the procurement of stocks to ensure accurate and timely availability and replacement of the required stock. Adhere to all relevant Departmental and organizational policies, process, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried-out to the required standard and in consistent manner. Perform any other duties which the manager in-charge may require to perform.

ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Operation & Maintenance)

For 2X500 MW, Toshiba Japan Make Unit

Ash Handling Maintenance Division in 2X500MW unit (Toshiba-Japan), Operation and Maintenance of Dry Fly Ash System (Pressure, Vacuum & SILO), Maintenance of ESP, Bottom Ash Evacuation System like Ash Pan, Rotary Air Lock Valve, Gear Box Running the Rotary Feeders, Ash water Pump, Ash slurry pumps and the Ash slurry pipe lines and dry fly ash pipe lines and bends(Different angles) of MS and basalt lined pipes and bends(different angles) of various diameter.

ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Operation)

For 2X500 MW+ 3X210 MW, Toshiba and BHEL Units

Installed capacity (2X500 MW + 3X210 MW), performed complete operation in 3X210 MW BHEL/KWU boiler, turbine & Generator in coal based thermal power plant.

Kept complete control on Vibration on rotating equipment like Steam turbine, Generator, Boiler Feed Pump, Booster Pump, ID, FD & PA Fans, Axial Shifts in turbo-generator Rotors, Differential Expansion in Casing and Rotor, Main Steam Temperature. Barring Gear by ATRS (Auto Turbine Run-Up System) for uniform cooling. Synchronization of the machine with Grid. Preparing Unit performance data like Generation of previous day, loss of Generation due to thermal backing, Monthly target, Monthly target(Till date), Actual monthly Generation till date, Deemed monthly Generation, Shortfall from target, Reason for shortfall of Generation, Previous day PLF(Including Thermal Backing), Monthly deemed PLF(Till date including thermal backing), Aux. Power consumption, Specific oil consumption, Specific coal consumption, Make-up water, Max. SH Metal temp, RH Metal temp, Tripping details, Fuel details several actual running parameters like, MS Pressure, MS temp., HRH temp, SH Spray, RH Spray, Total air flow, PH header, SPM, Exit flue gas temp.;, ID/FD/PA fans parameters, Mills parameters, Water chemistry Parameters(Like Silica, pH, conductivity for Boiler water, Cond.
