• Follow up on Head Office works and coordinate with site operations, including regular site visits.
• Monitor EB units and power factor values across all sites, ensuring PF is maintained above 0.9.
• Maintain EB documents for all sites to support ISO audit preparation.
• Coordinate with the PLC team to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of MCC panels and motors.
• Manage installation and servicing of HT and LT motors up to 575 kW.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of High Mast Lighting Towers up to 25 meters.
• Maintain optimum inventory of electrical spares and ensure ISO audit compliance.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance of transformers, motors, SF6 breakers, VCBs, ACBs, and starters using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Monitor 110kV switchyard auxiliaries including isolators, PTs, CTs, SF6 breakers, and SF6 gas pressure; perform periodic SF6 gas top-ups.
• Manage control room activities and communicate with DCS operators to maintain load shedding for cement plant operations and TNEB export.
• Monitor power generation, auxiliary power consumption, and net export to TNEB.
• Support service engineers in installation, testing, and commissioning of HT & LT motors, MOVs, drives, protective relays, and switching circuits, ensuring statutory compliance during equipment shifting.
• Coordinate with vendors for transformer oil filtration, oil top-up, and periodic BDV testing.
