Project Overview
Worked on validation of AMD Platform Security Processor (PSP) Firmware across Client, Embedded platforms. PSP is AMD's Trusted Execution Environment responsible for secure boot, security initialization, threat monitoring, and platform protection mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements
- Configured complete hardware validation environments from scratch and executed PSP firmware validation activities across AMD Client, Embedded platforms
- Generated custom bootloader BIOS images by integrating latest firmware release binaries using BVM tools.
- Performed firmware validation covering:System Boot Flow,Legacy Recovery and A/B Recovery,ACPI Cycling,HLK Validation,Processor Unlocking,Field Upgrade Verification,BitLocker Validation,PSB (Platform Secure Boot),FAR,Trusted Execution Environment (TEE),Microsoft PlayReady,ROM Armor,FIPS Compliance Testing.
- Configured and maintained multiple Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) server environments for validation and certification activities.
- Tracked evolving project requirements and updated validation plans and test cases accordingly.
- Managed and tracked a large inventory of validation hardware and test equipment utilized across the team.
- Signed firmware binaries using KDS servers to support secure firmware deployment processes.
- Performed BIOS flashing using Dediprog, BMC, and AFT tools.
- Installed and configured Windows and Linux operating systems on Server, Embedded, and Desktop platforms using BMC, PXE, USB, and CD/DVD installation methods.
