Ingenious and determined electrical engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field of building maintenance, research, training(energy & Health and Safety) , energy auditing and implementation at different organizations such as international properties, hospitality industries, research Institute, and manufacturing industry. Currently I am working as Estate Officer (Maintenance & Health and Safety) in British Deputy High Commission, Bangalore for more than seven and half years. I am responsible for overall maintenance and upkeep of BDHC Bangalore office and FCO staff residences so as to provide a safe and secure environment for BDHC staff and visitors. Preparing of budgeting,costing ,planning and delivery of property maintenance services for annual maintenance contracts works and project works .Monitoring and review the service level of suppliers and vendors and agree upon a service level agreement and Key Performance Indicators for services. Designing of new projects , refurbishment work and management skills of good leadership,clear communication,problem solving and team work.Experience in data collecting by survey,analysing , summarising data,action plan based on data and implementation. I have supervised work on upgrading residences of two UK staff to FCO standards. I was also involved in preparing the tender documents for the up gradation works. I am a keen learner and also interested in new technologies, processes and in disseminating ideas. I have presented an energy conservation paper in national level symposium at Cochin, Kerala .I have received second prize awards twice for the best research paper presentation during the annual colloquium at UPASI Tea Research Institute, Valparai, Coimbatore District. I have published two energy conservation related articles in the Tea Research Institute newsletter.
