Project: WAFL CA

Role: QA Automation Tester.

Description:

Running regression tests to test the functionality of storage file system i.e. WAFL features, like compaction, migration, and auto tiering to the cloud, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Automating the new scripts using the NACL/PyNACL library.
• Running regression and triaging the issues.
• Assigning the plan to the team under active sprints.

Project 1: Micron SSD

Role: QA Test Automation Development.

Description:

Testing SSD functionalities and its features in both Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and automation tests to validate features in SSD.
• Bug reporting and submitting all test logs.

Project 2: NetApp NACL RTR

Role: QA Test Automation Development.

Description:

Running regression tests on NACL libraries to find the issues affected by the new lib changes. Fixing the issues either with unit tests or NACL core.

Responsibilities:

• Test setup preparation.
• Running regression, and triaging issues.
• Bug reporting, creating a wiki on release code on a weekly basis, and publishing it.

Project 3: SITQA_Seagate.

Role: Manual and Automation Test Senior.

Description:

System integration testing of the Seagate-Xyratex storage controller box. Test the features of Controller OS, testing the enclosure protocols, like SES. Testing the BMC communication using IPMItool, and communication between GEM and BMC. Stressing the drives with I/O's on 2U12 and 2U24 enclosure models.

Responsibilities:

• Test setup preparation.
• Writing the scripts in a common framework and adding them to the regression suites.
• Bug reporting, and submitting all the test reports and logs.
• Preparing exit reports.

Project 1: NetApp Platform Validation - Agusta-SLDiags.

Role: QA Test Automation Development.

Description:

Validate NetApp's ONTAP SLDiags test suites. The suite contains the test cases for BIOS, SAS controller, ACP, NVRAM, NVMEM, storage, FC, and IC.

Responsibilities:

• Manual and automation testing of ONTAP SLDIAG features.
• Bug reporting and submitting all the logs to ALM.

Project 2: CPE Platform

Role: Script Development and Fixing.

Description:

CPE Platform is legacy testing of NetApp software releases on all the series of NetApp hardware. Test platform verification for features such as SP, RLM, SLDiag, ASUP, and NVRAM.

Responsibilities:

• Test setup preparation.
• Manual Testing and Test Automation Development.
• Bug reporting and submitting all the test reports to ALM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up Linux servers, configuring NFS servers.
• NFS user and group administration.
• Responsible for attending calls from clients regarding application issues and OS issues.
• Installing network services, peripherals, applications, etc.
• Maintenance and updating of assets (in computers)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up copiers, installing network services and peripherals for copiers, applications, etc.
• Maintenance and updating the copier devices.
