4. Fill Rate : Achieved fill rate more than 98.5% for critical suppliers like Paccar, Pense & Volvo

5. Inventory Turnover : Improved the ITR for current organization to 3.5 from 2.1

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for running the MRP in ERP system and releasing the weekly/monthly schedules to suppliers based on the requirement.

· Responsible to manage and monitor global supply chain with most cost-efficient way and choose the freight forwarders based on the best cost and support basis.

· Material planning and scheduling based on the project requirements and coordination with suppliers for timely shipment of materials

· Monitoring the costs, productivity and demand patterns and circulating across the teams for management review and weekly teams weekly

·Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions regarding the supply chain functions

· Responsible to develops performance reports and distributes them to stakeholder

· Responsible to provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals

· Responsible to Establish, maintain, and improve Material planning with the utilization of continuous improvement process tools, standard performance metrics

· Responsible to monitors/measures Freight Forwarders in line with agreed service level

· Responsible to compile stock control records and information such as usage, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions to determine stock supply and need for replenishment

·Maintaining the MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) execution parameters and item planning parameters such as lead time, time fences, period of supply, fixed lot multipliers, etc.

· Liaising with the Team as to material shortages and other departmental concerns

· Responsible to generate various reporting (Past due / Premium Freight analysis on a daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly basis)

· Managing the team and conducting the weekly/monthly meetings and extending the support for team members wherever necessary

· Acknowledging the customer purchase orders with the delivery schedules.

· Responsible for materials planning against the monthly & annual sales plan by running the MRP in PCS system, based on the purchase orders and forecast received.

· Releasing the purchase orders to suppliers for the materials planned for the production activities and following up with them till the receipt of materials.

· Responsible for providing weekly, Material status reports for program management team and PPC team.

· Responsible for moving the materials to sub-con with respect to production order & follow up.

· Responsible for coordinating with supplier for obsolescence issues

· Responsible for import & export documents compliance control

· Maintaining the optimum inventory level and thus feeding the production without any interruptions.

· Inventory Management and inventory classification, by using ABC analysis.

· Presenting the monthly project wise inventory reports to VP-SCM.

· Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess FG stock.

· Vendor development and ensuring the quality and commitments from the existing vendors.

· Effective management of vendor database.

· ABC analysis & classification of vendors on the basis of Cost, Quality, On-time deliveries

· Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.

· Preparing supplier LTA’s and contract review.

· Co-coordinating with logistics team and suppliers for consolidate the shipment to minimize the freight charges.

· Ensuring the flow of materials up to dispatch by coordinating with all concern departments of the company.

· Being the single window communication to the customers and suppliers for all aspects of the project.

· Handling the projects like Boeing & Lockheed Martin.

• Managing & monitoring the team to achieve the Sales plan.
• Responsible for publishing sales plan to management.
• Acknowledging the customer purchase orders with the delivery schedules.
• Responsible for materials planning against the monthly & annual sales plan by running the MRP in SAP system, based on the purchase orders and forecast received.
• Releasing the purchase orders to suppliers for the materials planned for the production activities and following up with them till the receipt of materials.
• Responsible for providing weekly, kit status to production.
• Reviewing production capacities with concerned team and maintain the open order report with customer.
• Preparing the sales control chart and delivery control chart and circulating to concerned departments.
• Responsible for moving the materials to sub-con with respect to production order & follow up.
• Coordinates shipments with the production, quality and logistics departments based on the customer requirements.
• Preparation of pulling file based on the sales plan for procuring the required materials to control the inventory.
• Maintaining the optimum inventory level and thus feeding the production without any interruptions.

• Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries.
• Responsible to do contract review for the new customers and new products.
• Handling the projects like Goodrich, UTAS, Thales, and Celestica.
• Being the single window communication to the customers and suppliers for all aspects of the project.
• Monitoring OTD reports.
• Ensuring the flow of materials up to dispatch by coordinating with all concern departments of the company.
• Monthly review meeting with the management and discussing about bottlenecks.
• Flexible in using an SAP system. Currently using “SAP HANA”.
• Good knowledge on SAP transaction codes.
• Knowledge of Supply chain operations.

· Responsible for Order Acknowledgement for the Customer Purchase Orders.

· Preparation of CP-Sheet (Customer Promise Sheet) and Circulation to concern departments.

· Preparation of Open Order Report.

· Material planning for various projects by using MPI, based on the Purchase Orders and forecast received considering the lead-time of materials.

· Releasing the purchase request to purchase team for the materials planned for the production activities and following up with them until the receipts of material based on the Buyers ETA.

· Part of maintaining the Bill of Material, Planning Sheets & Master Work order Documents.

· Analysis of Plan vs. actual and measuring On Time delivery rate on daily basis.

· Responsible to ensure inventory within Target.

· Responsibility to Consume or move the non-moving materials.

· Responsible to achieve the planned sales and approach customer for demands increase.

· Handling the Projects like Exide, Luminous, Amararja &Tafe.
