- Backend Application Development for Regulatory reporting framework. Developed end to end ETL solution to automate regulatory reporting of OTC products for MIFID
- The backend C++ service to read deal data from DB and generate fpml (xml data) for reporting
- Develop micro services in Scala and java to consume the fmpl, enrich the fields based on the input data and business logic and send the required fields to the regulator
- 1. Re-architecture of Remit iTrac to include standard and non-standard trades. 2. Re-design the java service, which is used to report the trade information to Trayport, to accommodate financial trades along with physical trades 3. Re-design the business logic for standard and non-standard trades 4. Also designed an automated tool to facilitate business to verify difference in static data whenever there was an update from Trayport and update it in DB
- Set an example of a learning mindset in the team, without any work experience on Java and scala, I learnt these languages and delivered production quality solutions with a very aggressive deadline
- 1. Design a back dated reporting solution to report bulk deals. 2. Due to some existing business logic, thousands of trades had to be reported to DTCC, after the business logic had been corrected, designed a java based tool to load all the back dated versions of trades and enrich the messages with the modified business logic and report those trades to DTCC.
