- As part of the Program I was responsible for all the Virtual Migrations P2V/V2V ( Scope : around 12K Server) Responsible for Install/Configure and Mange of PlateSpin Migrate tool

- Ensure the Initial replication has been completed for the workloads well in advance which are targeted for the migration and fix the failure jobs or define the alternate method to migrate the workload
- Worked with microfocus on XFS file system corruption to find out the root cause and applied the work around to avoid the corruption of XFS files systems post the migration
- Worked with microfocus on getting a patch released for VM’s not having the VMXNET3 adapter post the migration and to include the VVOL into the PlateSpin compatibility matrix
- As part of the Technical Architect , I was responsible to ensure the target vCenter and target location of physical server where it will land (as part of L&S)
- Analyze the existing architecture and prepare the target architecture of the application
- Submit the PlateSpin, application flows firewall requests and work with network team to get it implemented
- Analyse the existing VIP’s which are in current system and ensure the same has been updated/created post the migration
- Reserve the IP address for the to be migrated VM’s and ensure these are incorporated in the design sheet
- Prepare the design sheet for the application and review with the Application owner and get the signoff

- Joining Migration Readiness Call / PMR Calls / Status Calls to provide updates to TCS Management and also to Customers Assignment of PSM Licenses and updating PSM Dashboard with the right PSM IPs and readiness of the infrastructure ie PSM Servers availability.
