• Involved in the preparation of the basic layout of the coupling and gearbox based on the order details received.
• · Work out the ratio break-up selection, rating calculations, bearing life calculations, value engineering implementation, and other essential engineering-related calculations by using Kiss-soft, DIN programs, and FAG/Bearinx programs.
• Preparing a 3D model of a gearbox using Pro-E/CREO software.
• Prepare a detailed dimension sheet of the gearbox with (FLS/Foundation, if required) to obtain the client’s approval on it.
• Prepare detailed drawings to promote manufacturing actions.
• Prepare a bill of materials with all constituents used in the whole gearbox assembly, along with their size and quantity.
