• Played a pivotal role in setting up the Credit function, including the formulation of credit policies, product development, and automation of credit processes.
• Oversaw portfolio monitoring, and exercised deal approval authority within delegated limits.
• Established backend operations by onboarding DSAs, channel partners, valuers, and legal agencies to enable efficient credit delivery.

• Leading the New Client Acquisition team for ROMG, with end-to-end ownership of credit appraisal and deal structuring.
• Responsible for portfolio monitoring, collections, and maintaining overall portfolio quality.

• Full P&L ownership, including fee income, net interest income (NII), and portfolio growth.
• Responsible for hiring and building a pan-India sales team, leading Regional Sales Managers, and Relationship Managers.
• Driving the acquisition of high-quality clients, including new-to-organization relationships, to build a strong and sustainable portfolio.
• Developing and strengthening sourcing channels and partner networks to accelerate business growth.

• Heading the Mid-Corporate Credit vertical for the North Region, with end-to-end responsibility for credit underwriting.

Leading the Large Corporate vertical for the ROM & Goa region, with responsibility for evaluating and underwriting large and mid-sized credit proposals.

• Oversaw end-to-end credit flow for SMEs, equipment finance, channel finance, and large corporate proposals across the South region, based in Bangalore.
• Managed the ROMG portfolio as Area Credit Manager from June 2007 to March 2010.
• Subsequently, transitioned to a larger role in Bangalore, leading underwriting and portfolio management for Mid-Corporate, Channel Finance, and Equipment Finance businesses across the South region.

• Tracked and analyzed U.S.-based energy and utility companies, with a focus on financial and operational performance.
• Conducted backend project analysis of power projects across the U.S. And Europe, supporting investment and credit evaluation decisions.

• Conducted end-to-end risk assessment of term loan and working capital proposals for medium and large enterprises, including ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Gained exposure across key locations, including the Zonal Office – North, Corporate Finance Branch (Hyderabad), and Chandigarh Main Branch.
